Hello there my fellow dreamers & welcome back! This week’s “journey” post will be a bit different! Usually I give an update to where I am (to date) and there’s always some sort of lesson involved to help you on your journey! However, this week I just want to provide an update to let you know what’s been going on over here on my end while I STILL undergo the process to secure funding!
Can I be honest?! It feels like this process is taking FOREVER! Hahaha… Like really, I started at the beginning of April (April 5th to be exact) and we’re still at it today! You know what they say “all good things take time” and I honestly do believe it! Do you know what else I believe? …that good news is on the way!!! Good news is on the way not only for me, but for you too!!!
While I’ve been waiting, I’ve been working. I’ve been remaining in preparation mode and doing what I can now before the execution process begins! Here’s some of the things I’ve been working on while I wait: conducting lease review, researching equipment and product vendors, researching insurance and the different types required for my business, developing pre-opening timeline, following up with key individuals involved, writing for blog and planning social media posts, meetings, etc. There is always something that can be done to help you be prepared for what lies ahead.
Securing capital has always, from the very beginning, been one of my biggest hurdles I always knew I had to undergo. However, with that being said, I truly do know and feel that I’m closer now than I’ve ever been & things are definitely moving in the right direction! I’m grateful that although this process is taking a great deal of time, I have eliminated the mindset of “hurry!” Have patience and trust that things will happen when they’re supposed to and how they’re supposed to! When we’re patient we’re saying “I trust that God has it all under control” so let Him work!
I look forward to the day I share with you that my funds have officially been secured and we can now begin the process of opening our doors for operation! What a day that will be! And guess what? You’ll be the first to know!
Whatever it is that you’re experiencing today, as we are all dealing with something, I encourage you to Expect GOOD NEWS! Good things are on the horizon! Stay filled with faith, hope, and expectancy because that’s exactly what I plan to do!!! Thank you for being a part of this journey! Let’s continue to make our dreams a reality together!
